@mk101 Depends on your definitions of those. As a time rule, beginner is generally first 2 or 3 years. Intermediate is around 5 or so, and advanced is anything beyond that.
In terms of benchmarks, just measure personal progress. Just got back into lifting a few months ago. My goal is 1.5x BW for bench, (175 currently,) 2x on squat and bench. You can Google average ranges for your age; but I prefer to compare my progress against myself
