Hello! 26M here, super skinny at 40kg, 5’2”.
Finally I already started working out. I posted here last year asking if I should focus on calorie surplus first before working out and it turns out everyone adviced to do it simultaneously. I am at 2 week workout streak and 3 weeks calorie surplus streak.
For the calorie surplus, maintenance calories is at 1500cal and i observed that my current calorie surplus goal that I can reach this past weeks is 200-300cal. Mejo hirap pa ako mag 2k cal pero nahihit ko rin naman sometimes.
Question on my diet: i notice i am not reaching my protein goal (80g). Is this fine as long as I’m reaching my calorie target? Kasi if not, I’m considering to take whey protein. Mejo hesitant lang sa kidney etc. but currently taking research. Wala naman akong existing kidney condition.
Sa workout naman, kindly rate my dumbbell home workout program. Eto na ung nadecide kong ifollow this past 2 weeks:
Days: MWF for now
Week 1: 1.25kg;; Week 2: 1.5kg
Push
* 3 x 12 - Overhead (AMRAP - 14)
* 3 x 15 - Pushup (AMRAP - 18)
* 4 x 15 - Floor Press (AMRAP - 20)
* 2 x 6 (8 sec) - Tempo Push up
* 3 x 15 - Dumbbell floor fly (AMRAP - 18)
Pull
* 3 x 15 - One hand Dumbbell Row (18)
* 3 x 15 - Pushup
* 3 x 15 - Standard Dumbbell Row (18)
* 2 x 6 (8 sec) - Tempo Push up
* 3 x 15 - Dumbbell Curls (18)
Leg
* 3 x 15 - Dumbbell Deadlift (18)
* 3 x 12 - Dumbbell Front Squat (15)
* 3 x 10 - Dumbbell Lunges Left and Right (12)
* 3 x 15 - Dumbbell Goblet Squat (18)
I am not yet seeing any progress visually but nung last 3 weeks I am at 38kg. Ngaun is naglalaro na at 39.5 to 40kg. I am doing this right?
