Help me deadlift 300

@slamjam72 I agree with most of what your saying, but I disagree on your opinion on what's optimal. It's not necessarily arbitrary, there are better ways to do things i.e. greater results with the same amount of effort. It's therefore greater for something to be more optimal.
 
@racarvalho You can alternate between 5's, 3's and 1's each week , increasing the weight on each.
Then back to 5's the week after, but it will ideally be higher weight than week 1 . Then continue .

(Obviously , with the 3's and 1's, you'll need some good warm up sets to build up to your max for that number on reps)

Doing 10-12 reps is mainly for muscle development, and not great for increasing strength .
