Help with vegan protein blend

Hello everyone! 😀

l’m struggling a little bit to find a complete vegan protein blend and was wondering if anyone has found a right balance.

I don’t eat peas due to having an intolerance to peas (most if not all protein blends have pea protein so that’s a no go) and I don’t eat soy or soy based products. I also only drink hemp milk and hazelnut milk as these are the only milks I don’t have any issues with.

Have you had the need to incorporate BCAAs or EAA as well?

Thank you very much! 😀

@treverend Generally with a varied vegan diet there is no real need to supplement isolated amino acids. But you do seem to restrict quite a lot, so I would imagine it could make sense for you.

There is rice and hemp protein powders but I'm not aware of a blend of just the two. Also pea protein has the smoothest consistency and costs the least. No surprise its so popular

Typically they combine pea & rice because their amino acid profile complement one another. Rice protein by itself is low in lysine, but I have seen products with lysine added here (EU)

But I'm assuming you're American?

@tanasee No I’m not American. I’m in the UK rn. There are some foods in the vegan diet that I cannot eat because of how my body reacts to them for example I can’t eat most nuts like almonds, cashews, peanuts, etc, so they are out of the question, and peas are out.
