How much do you pay for your CrossFit gym?

@spiritchill You get personal coaching in a class setting. In other words “nothing is custom to anyone, we might coach you on one set of the hour…”

I love the concept of CrossFit, but the box cost is incredibly absurd. It’s a name fee, which is why so many crossfiters have built out their garages.

And at the same time, that’s only about $10 per class, if you go 3x a week.

@spiritchill Seems Europe is less expensive, but probably is related to the cost of living. My first box was 50 Euros a month, unlimited. Prices started to creep up lately. I am still at 69 Euros a month, but next year it will be around 80.

I pay about $25/mo for programming (Mayhem) and work out at home instead now.

Located 30 minutes outside Seattle.We didn’t have do do the intro classes because I has a few months of CF experience when I signed up. Then when I added my husband, they just dragged him along and coached him up, then we added my 14 year old 6 months ago and the coaches did the same thing.

I had surgery 3 months ago and the owner didn’t charge us our entire months membership even though my husband and son went 5 and 2 days each week respectively.

Find a gym that invests in good people/staff, good equipment, and a good culture. It can make a difference.
