How to Calculate Protein Intake

I’m 96kg, goes to the gym 4x a week (weightlifting then cardio afterward), and on a caloric deficit for about 2 weeks now. My goal is to lose fat and gain muscle, and weigh around 85-90kg for now. I’ve been also tracking my macros for 2 weeks now with myfitnesspal.

But I’ve read conflicting reports on how to track protein. I’ve researched na some articles says it should be 0.8-1lb per 1lb but others are 1.5-1.8lb per 1lb and it has been confusing. So, I guess my questions are:
  1. Should I match my protein intake with what I weigh now or my goal weight?
  2. Planning to go on whey isolate, would it be ideal?
  3. Myfitnesspal already has a built in goal protein for me but I had trouble categorizing myself if I’m sedentary or active since I go to the gym but on days I don’t, I just stay in the house lmaoooo so what category should I be in?

  2. Depende sa anong kaya ng tiyan mo, pero usually mas okay isolate for people (less lactose).
  3. If you exercise mga 3-5x a week, you can put yourself down as active.
