I am 14 y/o and I have a question

@crobads Do not go on a cut until you are an adult cutting at a houng age can absolutely fuck your puberty hormones and that shit will affect your test levels for life

@crobads Any basic lifting will do, it won’t stunt your growth, and you won’t get hurt as long as you start off easy. Definitely keep going to the gym, you don’t have to do a lot and it doesn’t need to get in the way of your other sports or activities

@crobads Alongside exercise, make sure to prioritize a balanced diet that provides all the necessary nutrients for your growing body. Eating a variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and staying hydrated is essential for optimal development and overall health.

@crobads Genetics and diet will have more effect on your height and weight. Diet and heavy lifting will have more effect on your bone density and composition. Please stay away from most supplements that suggest "cycling" your dosage as many of them will cause your own body to stop producing those itself. Low sugar and high protein will help keep body fat low, testosterone up, and help maintain lean muscle.
Getting big is not the same as getting strong. Gymnasts are some of the strongest athletes, but they stay lean. Also, your heart can't tell the difference between a pound of fat versus a pound of muscle. That's just one reason (there are many) why so many world-class body builders die of heart conditions at early ages.
