@lamarcook This is interesting cause it doesn't make sense from a medical perspective of the cause of decreased vision was refractive error (myopia/astigmatism)
Increased protein and Vit C intake has no role in reversing refractive errors, it's more likely there was a change in your eyeball shape or curvature of your cornea that lead to improvement in your vision.
That being said amla is the best possible source of Vit C so it can only help.
Increasing sources of Vit A, Omega fatty acids (like fish, flaxseed, chia) or lutein or zeaxanthin through green leafy vegetables is good way to prevent further deterioration.
But for those expecting their visual acuity to magically improve from eating amla, it's not going to happen.
