Inwards dumbbell bench press?

Usually I would flare my elbows out more like I would when bench pressing, but if I tuck my elbows in closer and press up and down I feel soooo much more tension in my PECS than I would with regular form.

Did I stumble upon an insane trick to add lots of more tension or is it literally just doing nothing for me?
