It’s been 6 days since i bought my rowing machine

@kdhcpeace I was under the impression that steady state would usually be more towards the low 20s. It seems like right now you’re not doing steady state but not really sprinting either, but something in between.
 
@kdhcpeace Well the point of steady state is to go a long time with efficiency. Google steady state rowing or check out r/rowing which has many posts on it. For me it’s about deciding which way the workouts going to be—a sprint where I’m gasping for air for 2000 meters, or a steady where I’m slowly building up to the finish over like 45 minutes or an hour. They’re both good, for slightly different things.
 
@kdhcpeace I average probably 30 strokes per minute during the beginning and middle and then pick up the pace to close 100 strokes at the end of a session.

When I was a teenager, I often had 5 sessions a day.

Now that I'm older with a touch of Grey, I might only do it once or twice a day.
