Starting from the bottom

@godislight The bottom is the best place to start. You should focus on weight lifting. Pick a program from the wiki, get your rest and protein intake, and trust that if you devote that ~1 hour 3-4 times a week you will get something out of it in a few months. After that you pretty much will be hooked
 
@nickamis That's great to hear. I struggled in the past to get into fitness as I felt aimless but really plan on making a change this time around. I'll check that resource out thanks :)
 
@godislight I started from zero on July 1st. The best part is immediate gains! Just keep showing up and do SOMETHING, even if it’s the last thing you want to be doing.
 
@signi Yeah that's good to hear! I started off trying to do a couple of runs before hitting the gym, maybe 2-3 times a week for a month before I started. Lost a stone but I've halted now, hopefully lifting will help with that!
