    Great post by /u/The_Fatalist

@leeza Do use the crosspost feature. And don't change the title.

Can single and double press be progressed together, or better to focus on one at a time?

@andy0 Nor sure about both progressing but certainly you could include both in a program. But I think you'd still need to choose which one is the focus. The other can provide support and variety. E.g. focus on single but do light/volume day with doubles. Not sure how good an idea it might be...

    A+A Snatch Protocol/program recommendations

@janie83 ROP does include a swing/snatch "finisher" on the C&P days, but one could just not do it.

List of Kettlebell Strength Standards Using StrengthLevel

@raykay Cool stuff! I am a bit surprised that there's a random website that has 1000+ people who do dumbbell clean & presses, as I've thought it is not a very common lift with dumbbells. How does Strength Level categorize people into various lifting levels?

S&S audio book vs ETK e-book

@unstoppable1 Strongfirst forums has mentions of people getting the S&S audiobook but not sure anyone reviewed it from beginner's point of view. I'd get the book, it's also better for referencing and pictures are useful, and use the gift card for something else.

    Only S&S?

@joellemarie197 S&S is fine. Some people just dislike it. That doesn't mean everybody does. Dissatisfied people are louder than the satisfied people are.

@hoanphamkhong1 In hindsight I should not have mentioned Instagram. Oh well.

    Quick Q on S&S

@charliehcf The StrongFirst lingo is "strong arm and stronger arm". Meaning no weak arm. Start with the one that is not the strongest. S&S is not a cardio circuit. Certainly you can do cardio circuit with at least swings, but S&S's point is strength and some aerobic training on the side...

What are your follow-along Youtube kettlebell videos?

@namelessempire87 The only follow-along I've done is Dan John's Tonic workout:

    Kettlebell Fanmail

@bmag KB press is no different from any other press: it uses the anterior shoulder and your triceps. Depending on how wide you like to bench, which affects how much the pecs are doing, the overlap ranges from medium to lots.

    Quick Q on S&S

@nunuzana It's clearly a "clever quip" that was taken too seriously.

    Kettlebells and longevity

I was listening to Tim Ferriss' podcast with Peter Attia, who is very much into longevity, and he was talking about several matters that have connections to Pavel's and Dan John's work and kettlebells. How intra-abdominal pressure actually can lengthen the spine (or fight compression), which is...

    kB Back Pain

@kkaye If you want to understand some basics of core training, do dead bugs. Once you can't keep your low back in contact with the floor, you are done and it may happen quickly in the beginning. Pullovers are not really a core lift. Sure, you need to have it engaged, but it is done with your...

    The Kneesovertoesguy

@19disciple44 Kneesovertoesguy is doing a trap bar deadlift which is somewhere between a conventional deadlift and a squat. It's not about "knees going past toes". And for a regular kettlebell swing, it's not about whether it is okay that your knees go past the toes. A squat is a different...

    The Wolf

@curlysouffle The double snatch is the limiter in the Wolf and you should use the weight that you can double snatch for 5, or probably 8 reps. If you want, or need, to go off the program, maybe replace the double snatch with a push press or a jerk. But also, sometimes you are just not yet ready...

    Snatch --> double C&J --> double C&P --> double snatch

@ghackman You need to click reply under the comment to reply to it. Otherwise it can be difficult to know who you are talking to. So far there aren't too many comments but if there were, it'd be confusing.
