    What have you done to significantly improve your conditioning

    @janitrol The secret to getting better conditioning is to not do crossfit. Do an interval training program, or find endurance related activities or sports to pursue. Running, biking, skiing. Whatever gets your heart rate up for a prolonged period of time.

    @aachen_hexagon Zone 2 versus Zone 4 leverage different energy pathways. Running a 10k in either is certainly better than not doing one at all, but they will have different effects on you physiologically.     @photographer Chris Hinshaw recently did a podcast with Hyrox folks and basically said he'd love Jeff Adler to compete in one but the amount of running needed to be competitive would probably put a huge damper in CrossFit competition.
