    1x12kg Jerk; 20mins; 130 reps

@jim_68 Omg I’m SO excited you’re starting a program 😁😁😁 Jerks look great and that was a long time - good work!! For another cue, you can try to relax on the drop more! You have to have faith your elbow will hit your hip where you want it to, but if you can relax completely, your tricep doesn’t...

    Weight Progression (KB sport)

@missy9211 Nice work getting to the 10’ with the 12s!! You’re totally right, 16->24->32 was how the progression went for all lifters back in the day because those were the only bells available! And I vaguely remember Denis mentioning somewhere that this was how he learned and then immediately...

10365 of 10000 swings DONE in 10 days! 140,752 kg moved; Program report

@jim_68 Agh I meant to respond to this before! For muscles used in rack holds a lot depends on your anatomy and how you can comfortably get the bells to sit. The most important thing is figuring out how to relax there. But the ideal position will have the the bells directly over your hips...

10365 of 10000 swings DONE in 10 days! 140,752 kg moved; Program report

@jim_68 LOL that rest doesn’t count 🤣 I’m beyond excited for when you start doing GS stuff but I’m exercising patience lol!! I already know you will love it. You have the mindset which is basically everything, as you already know 😊

10365 of 10000 swings DONE in 10 days! 140,752 kg moved; Program report

@jim_68 This is why I love this! There’s something for everyone 😊 And I actually would find this extremely taxing - there’s no rest in rack which is my favorite place to be lol. You’ve absolutely killed it, and I’m so excited watching your progress!! It’s super inspirational for me. You’ve...

First attempt at a Pentathlon ⭐️

@dudebro Nice!! That’s impressive to start with the full thing! I love pentathlons except when I’m doing them. And especially when I get to push press. LOL. The fact that you kept going means you’re meant for GS though 🤣🤣 Nothing like powering through an entire pentathlon with torn hands. Do...

Do you Snatch with your thumb facing Forward or Backward?

@brewersgirl74 I snatch thumb forward too, and I’ve never had any problem. So does /@lrs6 and she’s the snatch queen 🤗 I don’t think either way is more likely to lead to injury, it just boils down to anatomy and personal preference!

Do you Snatch with your thumb facing Forward or Backward?

@brewersgirl74 Lots of Girevoy Sport lifters use thumb forward, including Denis Vasilev, who is one of the best in the world!
