How to wake up early for workout if you already wake up early/evenings don't work??

@cbrow135 As a bonus, a moving/active parent or caretaker will make a lasting impression on a child. My 7 year old is working on her first pull-up!

How to wake up early for workout if you already wake up early/evenings don't work??

@zeke4110 Dad of 2 here. Find the small wins ie take the stairs instead of the elevator, park far away from the store while doing groceries, take walks with the family etc. if you go to the park, play tag, start doing random pull ups on the monkey bars etc. the kids will love it and they will...

    Manly Physique: Revisited & Revised

@inspiringmedia Love the work out and write up. Question: I know rest is important but I realllllly need to get some physical activity done. I was thinking about swimming laps or go for sets of KB swings. Do you have any off day exercises that would complement your workout schedule?

Working out with babies requires sacrifice from the entire family

@redeemedsinner Dad here…you have to adjust and make the best of it. Pushups, burpees, a pair of kettlebells, some bands and a pull up bar will offer you flexibility. You might not be able to block your schedule for hours but you can certainly grease the groove that way. Raising kids is the...

On week 4 of training 3x a week...How long until I see results?

@householder29 What worked for me (44/m, 165lbs) in terms of definition was to cut carbs and increase protein intake. Are presses enough for upper chest?

@curiousmel I would buy a cheap dip/upright row station so you can cover most push/pull angles.

    Kettlebell weight recommendation

@theheretic 45/m here. Best advice is to go to a big box store and try a couple ie one that can press barely press up 5 times and a heavier one for swings. Don’t go too big too fast and make sure to work on your form in order to avoid elbow issues.

How does everyone balance all their fitness needs as you age?

@bridgida Congrats! Fatherhood is the best. Great advice all around here. At some point down the road you will have playground duties. Be the active dad. Play tag with your kids. Do monkey bars stuff (ie pull ups!!!). Squeeze some burpees here and there. Always keep moving.

    Consistency v. Obsession

@susiejeanne Looks like you are exercising for the right reason. Each rep is a direct deposit into your life bank! For the childhood part and the triggers it releases in your adult life, know that there plenty of resources to identify and understand the root of it. One of the way I was taught...

    Consistency v. Obsession

@susiejeanne The issue is not the consistency and discipline in you working out. As long as it doesn’t interfere with your other daily obligations you are fine. That being said, what are your goals? How do you feel during or after a workout? Finally, you mention sketchy body image. I think...
