5'2 28yo highest weight in 2021 256. Cut out all fast food that year and dropped 20ish? Lbs without trying.

July 2023 started to hit the gym regularly 4 times a week, eye balled measured food. Weight loss was slow or not happening.

Nov 1 2023 decided I needed to get serious. Started weighing all of my food and put in the time for myself to hit the gym 6 or 7 times a week.

First my is room dirty because I am too busy going to the gym. 😇 Both my husband and I take at least 30 business days to put away clean clothes. 🙃

This is about 8 years of honestly not taking care of my body =( A lot of things had to happen in my life for me to stop caring. But. I care now.

Goal is another 60? 50? 40? Pounds idk. My goal is closer to healthier BMI, healthier Hip/ waist ratio, healthy lab work, healthy mind. Maybe get back down to a size 6/8? Idk. Then to try body recomp.

Ate at a 600-700 calorie deficit. Now (weight at 185) at a 500-600 calorie deficit. Loseit app says I average 7hr and 22mins of activity per week. I eat 100 grams of protein or more a day. Drink over 120oz water (I just stop counting at 120 oz. )

Working out is walking 3.5 speed for 1 hour total. For 30mins of that walk it is elevation 12-15. Under the desk bike while I WFH for 30mins at a chill pace. This 5-7 times a week.

Past two months hikes for anywhere between 3- 5 miles once per weekend. >this replaces the gym for that day.

One day is upper body weight lifting, one day is lower body weight, one day is the whole body. Yoga because I am busy AF and it MAKES me take a break.

Food, whatever I wanted. But, aimed to reach protein/fiber goals. Ate fruit everyday, veggies everyday. Weighed every gram into my face hole. We have date night on Friday which we go out to a restaurant, I only eat half of what is served to me. Rest is lunch the next day.

Estimated inches lost 6inches in stomach? From DD to D bra cup. Hips 8 inches. Thighs 3 inches. I have gone from plus size clothing. To standard sizing. I fit into a large or XL.

Next fitness goals complete 10 mile hike. Start jogging to complete 10k with friend at the end of April. Continue my new found love of hiking. Maybe start trail running. Recomp once I hit whatever goal??

***Anyone got tips on how to help out my poor arms? ***

@crossguy Yes girl you can do it. I’m 5’2 as well and my highest weight was around 224lbs. I lost around 24lbs as well by just not buying the snacks I was buying before I found out my son was allergic to most of them due to peanut allergy. But I started my weightloss journey in October at 200lbs and I’m now at 171lbs. This is our year girl!

@dgill Yes. Let's get this.
The fast food junk food is just soooo bad. Highly addictive, not filling. It will just put the weight right on you.
