There are training methods that use the modality of pushing or pulling something against a rack or immovable object in order to stimulate peak power output. This could arguably be that type of scenario, but this isn’t really specific to something and just seems more like a flex.
In regards to the e situation I stated above, for instance a movement would be doing a deadlift, but you have the safety arms above the bar to stop you from locking out the movement. You’ll pull against the rack as hard as possible for as long as specified while maintaining posture to build strength in that specific area of the rom.
