But I’m not seeing any gains at the gym. From my research I assume I need more protein and calories to see progress. Right not I get like 1500cals. I take no supplements

2 meals a day. A wrap or chicken wings in the morning and rice and another fit of meat and vegetables in the evening
Gym 3 times a week
No sugary snacks or crisp
 
@praying4you Then you're doing this wrong.

Eat way more. Go to the fitness subreddit, click the sidebar, pick a routine and follow it.

Find your maintenance weight by tracking EVERYTHING you eat. Read the labels, weigh the food.

Once you know how much you need to stay the same weight, add about 250 calories, and go with that.

Eat, lift, sleep. Repeat.
