Injured and bulking

Hi all.
I'm currently trying to bulk but recently tweaked something in my lower back. I'm going to have to take a week or more off and am curious should I pare back my intake?
Should I treat it like I'm cutting? E.g. keep up the protein intake just reduce everything else

@pnevmavathis As someone with a chronic injury I agree with the above. Focus on recovery, maintain what you have, change to a few exercises that can challenge a muscle group that is comfortable. I tweeked my old back injury last week. Can't squat this week or do any bent over rows without an incline bench. I switched to leg press all this week, isolating leg muscles with a few machines, plus a little bike training for some hypertrophy. Still stretching and resting my lower back, trying not to aggrivate the injury only challenging it to a degree, never anything that produces any sort of pain. You'll heal then get back at it.
