Question about PB & j

@antony32 Some french style jams use date or grape juice as the sweetener. Might be more pricey but in my opinion, it's totally worth it. Reading this post made me crave a pb&j sandwich...
 
@antony32 I cook frozen berries in a pot with a little water. Mash the berries once they're warm and bring to a boil. Then, turn the heat down to reduce. Once it's reduced, I'll throw in some chia seeds and put it in a jar and put it in the fridge. The chia seeds help make it a little thicker, jelly like consistency.
 
@antony32 I blend dates with a bit of water to make a smooth paste. I think it’s pretty great on pb sammies. I also use it as a sugar substitute for recipe cooking. I like this thread, so many great ideas!
