Should I buy 20kg or 24kg if I mainly just do swings?

I will use KB to build good posterior chain alignment and explosiveness. It’s just an add on to all my weight training and sport.

Stats: 6’1, 225 lbs. Bench 225x10 (don’t know max), squat 225x10, Deadlift 315x10

Please advise!

@vigilant I typically swing a 90lb bell at the gym for sets of 20, but at home it’s a 20kg and single-arm 16kg for many many reps.

@iowa52241 Might want to look into plate loadable "kettlebells" if you have weight plates or want them. I have quotes because the kinds of things I'm talking about are mainly useful for swings. Titan has one for like $50. There are some diy options using metal pipes.

You can go heavier than most kettlebells and in any increments you can put on the loading pin. The downsides aren't really an issue if all you want to do is swings. You may be limited to the diameter of plates but if you are worried about that it means you've gone pretty far weight wise.
