Super Bowl Bodyweight Push-ups and Pull-ups Challenge

For those of you watching to Super Bowl, here's a fun (and difficult for me) challenge I did in 2018 and planning to do again this year:

Pullups: one for each point in the game (7 pull-ups for a TD and 3 for a FG, e.g. if game ends 28-20, you'll end up doing 48 pull-ups)

Pushups: Every time a team scores, the number of pushups you need to do is the sum of the two team's scores (kinda like Oregon's Duck mascot). e.g. after the first touchdown of the game it's 7-0 so you need to do 7 pushups, then if it's 7-3, you need to do 10 more pushups, then 14-3, do 17 more, etc. . . It starts adding up once the scores get higher.

Last time I tried this was for the 2018 eagles/patriots game and I did 533 pushups and 74 pull ups.

Eagles-Patriots = sum of points 3-0 = 3, 3-3 = 6, 9-3 = 12, 15-3 = 18, 15-6 = 21, 15-12 = 27, 22-12 = 34, 22-19 = 41, 29-19 = 48, 29-26 = 55, 32-26 = 58, 32-33 = 65, 38-33 = 71, 41-33 = 74, total pushups 533

I was hurting midway through the 4th quarter (which was brutal and required 268 pushups)! and took me a couple hours after the game ended to finish them. Hoping for a slightly lower scoring game this time.

You can always make it easier by just doing the exercises when only the team you are rooting for scores (for the Eagles only it would be 189 (for Eagles scores only or 318 pushups for both teams scores), and 41 pull-ups). Or just the sum of the score at the end of each quarter or halves. And lots of ways to make it harder as well.

You can always substitute other exercises in like sit-ups/dips/muscle-ups/squats. just something to help burn off some of the calories you are eating while watching 5 hours of football plus commercials.
