Thoughts on going to gym?

@monosy Lol. I see it as an investment 😊 best investment this 2020 so far. Di naman kailangan kumpleto. Isipin mo...yung monthly na papambayad mo na naka expose ka sa iba during these times vs. fronting the money to buy a few dumbells (pwede ring adjustable weights) or kettlebells

But thats me.. id spend a bit more knowing na mas safe ako. Mas mahal macovid kahit may gamot na.. yung hospital bills palang and check up..
 
@annaad0617 Totoo mahal magkasakit ngayon. Ang sa isip ko lang is newbie ako about working out and if bumili man ako ng mga dumbells and other gym equipments baka mali naman pala pag gamit ko. I want to enroll sa gym for the guidance din on how to work out properly.
 
@monosy If thats the case, I just hope the coach or trainer you get is worth what you spend on him/her 😊. You may want to check out remote coaching. Baka someone here sa phitness can offer their services
 
@monosy Started working out with some friends sa country club near us. Research and mga forums pa nun as i go along with working out. Basa lang ako nang basa and not mga youtube coaches na nagppromise ng 6pack abs in 7minutes. Id also video myself and compare my form sa mga trusted ko nang trainers. I would also watch interviews and listen to podcasts ng sports trainers. Id talk to people rin who seem to know their stuff..

Never had a trainer sa commercial gym. It came to a point that i can confidently say that i would know more than some trainers sa gym. Nakaka cringe rin mga tinuturo ng iba sa clients nila. Tapos iiwanan tapos magtetext sa side lol
 
@monosy Natuto lang ako sa YouTube. Basta reputable ang source mo. Sa Beginners okay si Athlean X. Magaling magexplain si Jeff since PT siya. For more advance go with Alan Thrall, Omar Isuf.

Pero kung may pambayad ka naman. Then you can do that. I know virgin ka pa when going sa gym ako nagstart lang sa Bakal Gym then natuto din. Hehe. Good luck bro.
 
@monosy Yup! Si Athlean X (Jeff Cavalier) tinuturo niya ang mga maling ginagawa sa gym then he'll show you an alternative exercise or how to do it with proper form. Gusto ko siya since he knows how the body moves in such way dahil Physical Therapist siya. Naniniwala ako. Pero it will come to a point na yung tinuturo niya is madali na para sayo. So you need to find other people who teaches proper form and techniques.

Sa akin kase gusto ko sila Alan Thrall and Omar Isuf because strength training ginagawa nila. Ang program nila are mostly for strongmen exercises. Which focuses on strength.

So if bet mo maging maganda ang katawan mo na parang mga model ng Calvin Klein or mala Piolo or Derek Ramsey. Need mo maghanap ng ibang program. Depende talaga kung ano gusto mo. Like gusto mo ba maging maganda katawan? Or may malakas na katawan?
 
@roseanne1976 Well ang gusto ko naman is ung maganda na katawan but hindi ung pang body builder na. Gusto ko ung lumaki ang chest at shoulders and magka abs sana hehe.
 
@monosy Marami ring gawing DIY equipment. Backpack na tabunan mo ng mabibigat na gamit tapos mag squats ka and gamitin mo pang deadlift pwedeng pwede na especially sa mga baguhan
