    @seeking836 My original deficit was 1600. Not maintenance. i wasn’t seeing anything so I switched to 1400. Im aware of what a deficit is. I got 1600 from TDEE calculator. Yeah im new to the deficit ( 3 1/2 weeks) and all the added exercise.

    @mikeyb123 Ugh I can’t function with fasting. I require brain power for college.:( They need to figure out easier ways for us short gals. It’s unfair.

    @jeff2112 That’s what TDEE says because I exercise 6x a week. If I go any lower I’m going to binge, because I’m already starving all the time even at 1400. I luckily only drink water and don’t consume alcohol. Thank you:)

    @lamarhourglass Wow that’s a huge gap. I think it shows that weight loss isn’t linear, and not a one size fits all.

    @lamarhourglass Oh no. I’m hoping this isn’t the case for me. I’ve lost weight in the past ( not trying) by eating what I wanted and just being active but suddenly I’m struggling. Maybe your metabolism is shot? I sleep good and drink lots of water so those aren’t issues for me either

    @justme21 I mostly eat bland food because sauces have too many calories. So I would say my sodium is normal to lower.

    @dougw59 No soda, no sweets. When I crave sweets I will eat a yasso bar or just fruit. No supplements or vitamins. I like to get my nutrition from food. I had binge eating issues way back when but I don’t anymore.

    @testament7 Nuts make me sick and are high in calories. But I eat whole grains, fruits, sardines and tuna.

    @intermediary I already have a calorie calculator but I went ahead and downloaded it and gave me the range of 1700 for slower weight loss and 1400 for faster weight loss. So apparently I’m on the right track just not seeing any progress.:(

    @swing1987 No. I look and feel the same just more hungry. I don’t care much about the number on the scale, I just use it as a form of measuring any ounce of progress

    @roman101 Oh that’s not gunna work for me. I will suffer not eating before I lose weight that slow. I know it sounds excessive, but I simply don’t have the patience for that. But also I don’t care so much about weight as I do my looks. Weight is just a form of measuring if this is working or not lol

    I started a caloric deficit of 1600 3 1/2 weeks ago. After a week of that and not losing anything, I changed my deficit to 1400 for the past two weeks. I work out 6x a week. 1 hr weights+ 1 hr cardio 4 of those days. Then the 2 days I walk 6 1/2 miles. On average my watch tells me I burn around...
