@jonjones229 I didn't realized both duos would be doing their exercise at the same time, I thought one duo would be resting while the other does their part
@jonjones229 Unrelated to events and probably really late in realizing this, but just noticed that Roman got his visa and is in Madison to compete! Excited to see how this year plays out.
@ladyches It was actually more of a roller coaster than you realize. It was questionable whether he'd get it (partially for previous reasons, partially because of the Ukraine war). He's been here since spring, training in the US. Then when he got in, he had to leave again to compete in Sanctionals in Korea. Everyone was concerned he may not get back in a second time but thankfully he did.
@orthodoxlady1994 In a way it's strange that this is the year, with US-Russia relations at a nadir, that he finally got the visa. I still want to know the story on what the holdup was.
