A recap of my transition from running and cycling to kettlebell training

@nickodack69 Gotcha, how hard are you pushing on your runs? It might help to make your post-KB training runs super easy recovery (about 60-90 seconds slower per mile than your usual pace).

@equinelover I actually try and run all runs ‘easy’ but inevitably end up working quite hard (averaging like 150-160 HR), doing about 9:00-9:30min/mile (a decent pace for me!) for whatever reason. Find it difficult to run slower as it feels hugely inefficient, like I’m plodding. Kind of need to work on just calming down.

@equinelover As an ex-marathon runner who switched to kettlebells around a year ago, I really identify with this. Just doing kettlebell swings has improved my running, one of those “what the hell” effect perks from kettlebell training that Pavel talks about. Never going back to “just running”
