Breakfast of (vegan champions)

1 cup rolled oats, 1 scoop Sunwarrior protein powder, 1 Tbsp chocolate sunbutter, soy milk.

It's not glamorous but it is effective!

My go-to overnight oats recipe is -

1/2 cup oats

TBSP Chia Seeds

TBSP Milled Flax Seeds

1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder

1/4 Raisins

1/4 Shredded Carrots

Dash of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice

Drizzle of maple syrup

1 cup oat milk

Berries on top (whatever is fresh and/or on sale that week)

modified ever so slightly for my own ease, but basically @parkertrace 's recipe I got from a post here. been making it every night for the next day ever since.
 
@researchguy Would you say overnight oats give you as much energy as cooked oats? I ask because I have heard that raw oats have resistant starch which is not as digestible and so would have less calories than a hot cooked starch. Do you have experience in eating both cooked and overnight oats and have you noticed any differences in energy?
 
@richardtus The biggest difference I've noticed is cooked oats go through me a lot faster and I'm hungry sooner. Vs overnight raw oats keep me full longer. Tbh the biggest reason we do overnight is for the convenience.
