@pilgramspirit Mine is about 1:1, clean and jerk is slightly higher . My max clean and jerk is 150-153 lbs, and max bench press is 145-148 lbs. (I’m a woman but also train for powerlifting meets so I bench often and don’t do Olympic lifting as much.)
@pilgramspirit I’m closing the gap on that 1:1 ratio but my CJ is still a solid chunk more - 275 bench 300 CJ. I didn’t lift much before crossfit so that’s probably why I can’t bench a whole ton.
@pilgramspirit C&J is about 245 right now, bench is about 315. C&J seems like a much longer, complex movement compared to bench, so I'd think bench would naturally be higher?
@pilgramspirit Personally I’m 350 bench to 300 C&J... However from some lifting coach I’ve seen posted on here before, I believe the ratio is Front Squat = Bench Press is supposed to be the matching ratio. For me that is still off though (350 Bench does not equal 325 FSqt)...
