Nike Metcon 5 - the squeak is gone

is that the Metcon 5 doesn't squeak

Anybody else think that is sweet?

@biggsandwedge A light dusting of baby powder under the insole and the squeak is gone. The leftover chalk dust in the bottom of the chalk bucket would be just as effective.

@biggsandwedge I wouldn't expect them to now, but often shoes that have a problem with squeaking develop it over a little bit more time than the 5s have been out.

I wouldn't call them squeakless until we have a long time under our belts and a bigger samples size (because not all metcons squeaked to begin with)

@biggsandwedge my metcon 4's never squeaked, they were the first gen ones. That being said I love my nano 9's.

Also switched from metcon 4s to nano 9s. I love the wider toe box.

They’ve said this shit before, every pair we’ve bought has squeaked.

@biggsandwedge Can confirm. Used them for over a week now and zero squeak. Comfy too.

@john25 Ran over 6 miles in them and used them for about a week in wods too, just in general they feel a lot different/better than previous versions. Even with the Hyperlift in, they’re still very comfortable.

@biggsandwedge I have been using a metcon 4 flyknit for 1,5 years now. Never noticed any squeaking.

@biggsandwedge The Flyknit 3s don't squeak, and are good shoe. Squeak isn't a deal breaker for me, but it was very annoying about the older metcons and the romaleo 2s. Hope the 5s are as good as people are making them out to be
