Three years ago I couldn’t even do 1 pushup. Today I did 60

@jesscat 60? good for you, i just hope they were all good ones, saw a dude at the gym hammer out some, he'd maybe claim he did 30, 40, 50, whatever his goal was, i wouldn't have given him 1

@jesscat Dude, congratulations. That's a massive accomplishment.

You've probably got a bunch of warnings to balance out your push training with pull training :) It's easy to mess yourself up. And don't forget to take good care of your shoulders, I found dead hangs to be a total life saver. Best wishes!

@jesscat I’m confused, not hating but why should I do so many pull ups? My back game is great and I’ve literally trained to do 12 because I’m joining military and passes that goal up, I can do 20 n then sum but why should I aim for more? I’ve had people tell me that they can have done like 80-100 pull ups and just never understood what for. Now that I’m thinking about it, maybe it’d be good if I stopped going to the gym for whatever reason and needed to or wanted to keep working out. Like just pull ups, push ups and cardio.
