@throwaway CFHQ's addiction to complexity strikes again. Having the first half as a buy in then race to the finish would have been much better for spectators.

@jarvis75 Agree, it's probably a good thing that it happened on heat 1 especially with cuts and perceptions of fairness.

@lilypham0606 Did the other competitors know? If so the first heat got kinda screwed. You can go harder knowing you’ll have extra rest. Not knowing there’s extra rest makes you pace more.

@be2012 Not sure but your point is valid. Heat 2 might not have known but heat 3 got to see the 2nd heat have extra rest so they knew for sure.

It's possible they told heat 2, it felt like they weren't confused about the extra time in the break which made me think they were aware.

@jonjones229 Lots of no reps for Sydney Wells - feet are supposed to stay over the box and not swing over the edge on the burpee box overs.

@mikelore A lot of them are doing that. Is one leg allowed to swing outside the box?

@jarvis75 All I know is the commentators said you can use your hands but can’t swing legs over the outside of the box.

@jonjones229 Roman did well to place in that 5k but he did look like he was lumbering for a lot of it until the end lol. Adler didn't look phased at all. Curious how much Adler can continue to chip away.

@jonjones229 I love workouts that a majority of people can look at and be like "hey! I can do most of these movements! I could actually do this workout" But then they give them an insane time cap and it just descends into chaos
