@cbsmel Is PPPU really a good exercise to target chest? I feel it is mainly the shoulder and some triceps and even less some chest. Or am I doing it wrong?
@sydneyelise If you concentrate on hollowing out by trying to pull the floor or whatever you are holding onto together (chest adduction, try to get your elbows closer - not really but visualize it) you should get a very good chest pump. At least I do.
@sydneyelise They use shoulders more than regular pushups but they still hit the chest quite well. You can do ring pushups if you want. I chose pppu because they are easier to scale and helps the planche.
@cbsmel Since you replied to a recent comment, here goes:
Ring dips are 4x7 to 5x12, and I stick to just 8 reps per set, so let's assume it's 5x8. So I'll just have to progress from 4 sets to 5 sets over a period of 6 weeks? ( I'm assuming 5x12/5x8 means how much you should train at the end of the cycle) .
Would really appreciate a response, thanks for the routine!
