Can I still gain muscle with 0.45g/lb of protein?

@jamesgray Yes. You can put on a lot of muscle without optimal protein and even diet. The only thing you cannot neglect is proper rest and training hard
 
@jamesgray I always reccomend 1g/lb of goal bodyweight. It will vary person to person of course. But say you weigh 150lb and you want to make your way to a lean 160lb. Id take in 160g of protein a day.
 
@jamesgray Why do you want to eat less protein? Do you have stomach issues? You can get the same benefits with IF with high protein, because it’s all about calories. Lower your carbs and increase protein intake.

If you really have to, start taking BCAA’s to ensure you’re getting some amino acids
