Easy ways to add protein to my diet?

@rubertnrubert Your friend sounds like a noobie.

You don’t need more protein. More helps but you don’t need it.

What you need is more calories. Shoot for 3000 calories a day if your bigger do 3500 and if you wanna gain as much muscle as possible and don’t care bout getting fat go for 4,000 calories a day.

Get your calories from oats peanutbutter quinoa and beans

Don’t worry about your protein you don’t need protein powder

If your a girl you won’t need as many calories

@rubertnrubert I would eat lots of nooch, hemp seeds, soy. I would avoid protein isolates, and instead opt for powdered nut butters. 180 cals of almond butter powder has 24 g protein. 1 ingredient, blanched almonds.

@rubertnrubert I’m struggling a bit with this too but here’s what’s worked for me so far:

Breakfast: Smoothie - Icelandic Provision Skyr + Garden of Life protein vegan powder + banana or frozen blueberries + Ripple pea protein “milk” + 1tbsp peanut butter.
It’s about 50g Protien / 21 Carbs / 19-20g Fat

Lunch: Rice, edamame, hemp hearts and soy sauce.
It’s about 27g protein / 50g carbs / 20g fat

Plus I eat a protein bar mid afternoon for another 20g protein. And sometimes a shake before bed!

It’s super hard because I’m not that hungry of a person. I feel ya and hope this helps.
