is this video worth or not?

I am interested in point number 5,(the loop band one) since I can already do 3/4 bodyweight pull ups and I would like to reach 10 within a few months. He says to use a loop band and hit 10 reps in the first set, he says it doesn't matter how many reps you can get in the nexts sets, but he reccomands to rest 2/3 minutes, then he says to switch the band to a thinner one. i'm currently able to hit 11/12 reps with the purple band in the first set, so according to him i should change band, i'll probably able to get 5/6 reps on my first set, and i should aim to get 10 reps and then switch loop band. Is it a good method?
