@faithwithobedience Looking good, The most positive thing is your state of mind. You should defiantly look at socialising and meeting people. Website / App Meetup is good for this.
@faithwithobedience Congratulations! Like a few mentioned, I suggest some like-minded workout friends IMO! I do F3 and, while that may not be for everyone, it is a way to connect with and find some workout partners and friends. You could also check out local calisthenics parks if you have them or other workout locations or gyms. You could also look to get hooked up with a local running club.
Just my opinion. Again, congratulations and great job!!!
If you don't mind me asking, you mentioned committing suicide. Do you now find that being fit and having your daily exercise routine is/has helped with your overall mental wellbeing?
@djon_mez Yeah, in our world, it is sometimes easier to get to know new people in the park, than to find hanging fruits in the trees of that same park.
@eamalto Seems like more a matter of circumstance, but there are things you can do to put yourself in the right circumstances. It takes time and effort though, it's not too easy to find people who you fit with well- especially at the age of 40. Let's acknowledge that OP made great strides already
These things will come almost naturally for someone who's improving themselves consistently anyway.
