Strong Curves Gluteal Goddess weeks 1-4: Workout C exercise substitutions???

Hi, I'm pretty new here so sorry if I look, well, newbie. >_<
Anyways, I've just started the 12-week Gluteal Goddess full body program and am about to finish my first week. However, I'm struggling with some of the exercises in Workout C, those being the "turkish get up" (1x5 each side) and the "half-kneeling horizontal chops" (1x8-12 each side).

Do any of you ladies here have any substitution ideas or ones that they've used instead of these exercises??

Help would be much appreciated, thank you :) !!!
