@thisgenerationfulfilled Ha! Nope, not permanent. There will come a time when you're working out and you don't feel like you've done ANYTHING without experiencing DOMS. It's not necessary for muscle growth but it will definitely lessen with time (unless you are really pushing yourself).
Make sure you're taking in enough protein and get enough rest - the body needs to heal!
@thisgenerationfulfilled They tend to creep in when you've done a movement you're not used to, or gone particularly heavy. Learn to love them. Like that annoying friend who just won't go home!
