@eboigbeosayande How? If you scale properly there’s absolutely nothing wrong with doing this. I’ve done a 24hr event before with a team to raise money for pediatric cancer. No one was hurt, everyone kept hydrated and fueled.

In my opinion too many CrossFitters are weak minded and are afraid of a challenge that would test them.

@sharonrhoover I did Manion RX (from the rack) once and I couldn’t really walk for the next 3 days.

It was a big wake up call to me that these heros, except for the exceptional athletes, are mostly just a challenge that ultimately hurts your fitness.

@volokh The original was 400m run. The Travis Manion Foundation partnered with GoRuck and created a ruck version just to give people more options. I try to do both each year.

@volokh That’s my buddies’ event - it’s awesome! The idea is more to work with teams and scale as needed because it’s a ton of work. One guy did them all RX several years ago and I’m not sure he survived (joking), but seriously it was insane to witness. Highly recommend people giving it a whirl!

@volokh We have a very similar event where I’m from. I did it once but in a team of 4. It was so hard and definitely high risk for rhabdo/injury. But I loved it and would definitely do it again!

@volokh Our gym does this every year for Veterans Day. We have a few people every year go all the way but, partnered workout and usually heavily scaled. It’s about the mental challenge pushing through for 24 hours.

@volokh Good challenge!

We have done every hour for 12 hours. Couldnt imagine doubling that. I was done. Shaking. Took a couple of days to recover.

One guy from my gym did the ultimate murph challenge (with vest). Murph scaled up to half marathons - so its murph x 13,29.

1/2 marathon
1329 stricht pullups
2658 pushups
3987 squats
1/2 marathon

Time: 26 hours
