M/34/5’7” Would joining CrossFit be too intense for someone who’s obese?

@christy01 Crossfit has the ability to scale to be a good workout for whatever level you need and it does typically involve a strong sense of community.

The downside being that some Crossfit coaches and gyms can be too intense and try to push you beyond what you should be doing and they often don't give a care about proper lifting form, so they put you at a significant increased risk for an injury.

My suggestion if you think the community aspect of it will help, try out a few crossfit gyms and try to find one that fits you and it not one of the insanely competitive gyms.
