@ashere I think I have a Nope Rope if anyone was wondering how they might achieve a huge 293 dubs, sixteen whip marks and the ability to hurl it effectively across the gym
@ashere Oh I can do uniform l unbroken up to 75 on a good day, so I feel like I can "do" them ... But I can't do them gassed, and that's where the work starts!
@toba4christ Probably because your elbows flare out when you're tired. Remind yourself to keep them tucked in every 10 dubs or so. Anyway, keep on working!
@ashere I have rogue sr-1 handles with a jumpnrope 1-series cable because it's a cheap combo that someone in this sub recommended, but before that I learned on an $8 Amazon rope that I had done 100 unbroken on. Yes, the new rope is nicer, but you need practice more than you need a fancy rope.
@beardedchristian We see the opposite, haha. People practice more because they have a new fancy rope. But you're absolutely right, our coach Agnes can do unbroken triple unders with our cheapest rope of €14. It will not be as durable as some higher end handles, but you just need to do them a lot to get better at them.
@xnihilistx Cost evens out when you think about how often you replace cheaper ropes! Mine is going on 3+ years as well whereas RPM I kept having to replace 1-2x yearly which adds up.
@xnihilistx Yeah I just posted my experience with mine, the rope is worth every penny in my experience. Every person I’ve let try it out at the gym wants one.
@ashere Haven't tried Elite srs but i have the surge 3.0 and it is a really nice jump rope. I had that before my rpm. Little more weight in handles and spins great.
