Under Desk Walking Pad or Mini Stepper for WFH

@oceanblueyes I just ordered one from Amazon. No incline, but it does go up to 15km so we can use it for running too. Hopefully.

@marianak I have a walking pad for under my desk and I love it. I don't remember the name but I got it off Amazon for like a couple hundred bucks. When I'm not using it I store it behind my door.

@marianak I have the Umay on Amazon and it's fantastic. I have had in 2 years no maintenance and I walk upward of 5k a day unless I have heavy meetings because I don't like to bop around.
When I'm doing something intricate like PPtx then I need to sit down but writing and general clicking is very simple.

@cassiekae Do you use a step tracker/smart watch with your walking pad? If yes, do you have to strap it to your ankle to get it to count your steps?

@marvindy Use the app that comes with it that tracks my heart rate and it uploads to oura and Apple fitness

@marianak I have one called the walker pro and it’s amazing. 5% incline and I do about 6 miles daily while working. It’s compact but doesn’t feel too short. I’m 5’8” and it’s perfect for me. Very quiet too!

@randa8586 Do you move it day to day? Or place under your desk and keep it there?

@steffanie2020 For the first few weeks I kept it under the desk but didn’t love how it fit when I’d use my chair for meetings. Now I prop it up vertically against a wall. It’s in a corner so it doesn’t look too crazy out of place.

@steffanie2020 I bought one that folds down and slides under my desk. But I've never done that. My work station is at the far end of my living room. Keeping it out does not get in my way.
