If the danger, cost and questionable efficacy of supplements isn't a good enough reason for you to not take them, keep in mind that vitamin supplements have been shown to blunt strength gains

FAQ:
  1. But those are rats! I'm not a rat! The 2011 study was with rats and the 2014 study had similar results in humans.
  2. But those are huge amounts of Vitamin C and Vitamin E! Who really takes that much? These amounts of antioxidants are actually really common in supplements (1 IU = .67 or .9 mg)
