What all non vitamin and mineral supplements are there?

I have seen that there are many supplements, so I just want to make a list which would be good starting point for one to learn.

I am listing all which are coming to my mind (including vitamins and minerals), which are recommended generally

  • Vitamin A
  • Vitamin B (B1, B2^, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12^)
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin D3 *
  • Vitamin E
  • Vitamin K
  • Boron
  • Calcium ^
  • Chromium
  • Copper
  • Iron ^
  • Magnesium
  • Manganese
  • Molybdenum
  • Phosphorus
  • Selenium
  • Zinc ^
Non vitamin, non mineral
  • Omega 3 fatty acid (ALA, EPA, DHA) ^
  • Carnitine
  • Creatine (afaik, only for athletes and bodybuilders)
  • Taurine
  • Lutein (for eyes)
May or may not be relevant (afaik, non conclusive research)
  • Ginseng extract
Antioxidants
  • Zeaxanthin
  • Astaxanthin
  • Beta carotene
  • Lycopene
Remember to not take these supplements without enough knowledge, there are RDA/AI, UL values, deficiencies, etc to be kept in mind, if you are not confident don't take any decision without doctor's advice.
