@fromgenesistorevelation I would be in. I can currently hold a 30second good form L-Sit so can work from there. I am also currently travelling so it would be good motivation to make sure i do something everyday.
@fromgenesistorevelation Sign me up.
I can only do one legged supported on the floor but can do them on parallel bars. I am sure I could improve with motivation
@fromgenesistorevelation I don't know the details but I wanna participate as well. I've always been a fan of dragonflies or whatever Rocky does in Rocky IV
@steph23 They don't really work the same muscle groups actually.
Do they both work abs? Sure, but there's so much more different things going on with those exercises.
The L-sit is all about hip flexion. But with dragon flags, the hips are totally open and the glutes (hip extensors) are active. You can't even flex the glutes in an L-sit cause the hip flexors are doing the work. The dragon flags don't have scapular depression going on. The l-sits don't tax the lower back the way dragon flags do. The lats are quite active in the dragon flags, but not as much in the L. Hope that helps clarify.
@fromgenesistorevelation Antranik?! You make the videos, no? I didn't realize you were OP. You are right, I was mainly referring them as an ab exercise. When's the challenge going to begin?
