@jksims Yup! It's a bit silly, but because we don't make individual commission and are never supposed to pressure a guest to purchase anything, it's not exactly sales either. Our guest-facing role--per our job description--is to get to know our guests and how they like to sweat, and teach them about our products so they can make the most informed judgment for themselves. During my time at lululemon, I made really strong connections with numerous people who came in and never bought anything. They really want to focus on guest education and to teach guests about "the 5 F's of a product"--form, fit, fabric, function, fun (lol).
 
@silkybunny Sounds like they really want to ensure that people will love their expensive purchases, which is better for them in the long-run for a multitude of reasons! Makes perfect sense.
