@mayaann I'm currently using some of the products from PrimeGenix which were recommended to me by a friend. I'm specifically using the muscle mass stack which has a testosterone booster, whey protein isolate and pre-workout.
Magnesium is great in many ways, keeps muscles healthy and keeps me perfectly regular ;-) Vitamin D, I believe, is more of a hormone and works in many more ways than people think.
@2withjesus Too much supplemented vitamin D can have a depressive effect on your natural vitamin A production, affecting your immune system negatively. Unless you are deficient, I wouldn’t supplement vitamin D.
@whiteybeefcake I've never heard that...my understanding was it's stored in your fat and your body knows how to use it most efficiently and just disposes of what it doesn't use (obviously ANYTHING in too much is bad, but what I saw was it was difficult to actually do that with Vit D). Can you post links to that?
@cpfThis is the foundation of my statement, but to be clear I’m not saying no one should supplement vitamin d. I’m saying the first choice is to go outside. Unless you’re deficient, I don’t see the need to supplement synthetically.
