IMO, the sub name has to be changed. 90% of the posts here are in the wrong sub

@marvin54 The mods on this sub let everyone post about dumbells yet they delete your post that's 200 words becasue it's not enough waffle talk but talking about weights on a bw Sub is fine

@morbidninja This drives me nuts, I've had several on topic posts deleted for no good reason and then all this random off topic stuff makes it through no problem. I don't get it.

@nak6 Right, but they only want to comment here about how if we see those posts, report them or they might not see them to remove them. Clearly they saw the brand new on topic posts and removed them just fine.

@marvin54 This sub served its purpose years ago.

Back when we had regulars like Nick_E and Antranik posting weekly challenges and progression videos and everybody worked together to form the best calisthenics routine for muscle and hypertrophy goals.

Everything that could be said here, has been said.

It would be cool if subreddits like this had a way to just post reruns of its glory days.

It could be worse though, we could still have the K Boge bro's arguing that wall pushups are ableist and we need a new RR for people who only want to do 3 exercises once a week.

@stalis2003 That last part you said lol about wall pushups. Ofc not aha like I'm disabled and thats literally one of the things outside of Pilates that my phyiso therapist reccomends because is so adjustable.

@peccator I'm a mod on the r/insanity subreddit and we have issues with people posting insane stuff all the time even though all the posts are about the Insanity workout, it's stated in the sub description and in the rules that it's about the Insanity Workout by Shaun T, I even added a reminder when you create a post but people just don't bother reading

@peccator That‘s what I was already thinking but it is worth a try to suggest it.

I disagree however that it wouldn’t change anything, because all those posts are from people who are obviously beginners. I doubt someone would go to a „calisthenics“ subreddit when they want to ask questions about losing weight or working out with dumbbells.

@lucylove That is what I’m on about. People defy reason when they jump in here asking about how to manipulate their body weight before lurking in the sidebar for any amount of time.
