Lateral Raises at the end of every workout

@shows I'm not going to argue one way or the other but it is hilarious that a discussion about communism is taking place under a post about delt training.
 
@taslott Yeah lmao idk how we got here. I have to be more careful to not mention anything good that's come of socialism or communism online, people are conditioned to hate it as a concept even while they're getting fucked by capitalism. I guess it doesn't matter that I always provide sources too.
 
@shows The irony that he calls this argument out explicitly in his communism video is hilarious that you are bringing it up, any criticism of communism or socialism with real world examples is always hit with the "but that wasn't real communism, for these reasons"
 
@arekusun It's a common criticism for a reason, there are a laundry list of reasons why the USSR at that point was not primarily communist and had many other influences that affected the QOL. He was criticizing non-communist policies as a detractor of communism, I'm not sure what you want me to say?
 
@tennille It's hard to swallow for sure. I try to only follow his fitness YT and forget he does anything else. We all have our own areas of expertise, and our own areas of blindness/biasedness.
 
@ronyrana some people say he's unreliable because he's updated his advice based on new science. People either fault him for updating it at all, or not updating it fast enough, sometimes in the same breath. I've seen it happening around this parts with full rom vs llp. Obviously Dr. Mike build a big brand on full rom, and now that studies are suggesting that LLP are as good if not slightly better people are shitting on him, despite the fact he's been pushing for the value of llp for well over a year now.
 
@claudiabrinkmann1566 I absolutely agree. One of the reasons I like him is he will flat out say this is what I believe as of XX Date based on the research available now. And he'll indicate if going a bit past what the data says today because he believes its gonna go this way in the future. Specifically with the case of LLP he's even said a few times he may not be updating his advice fast enough (he actually mentioned one could make a case for exclusively doing LLP for calves but isn't quite there yet to say that on his channel).
