@groo101 Not a very recent achievement but my kip on a bar from the top position has more snap in it than it had a few weeks ago, although I still need to bend my arms a bit. This is mostly a skill not a strength move even though it does require some abdominal strength.
@groo101 We went to this crazy fun place on friday that was like an adult obstacle course. They had this crate stacking game and I went higher than anyone else! I owe it to a good core to keep me balanced while climbing those crates.
@groo101 Main achievement this week was actually getting in a decent workout! Family and snow shoveling have interrupted my regularly scheduled sessions. It was well worth it, I improved the form of all my moves: shoulders back and glutes forward in HS, engaging lats and core more in pullups, and progress in my ring dips.
@groo101 I aced my dragonflags today. I was just finishing my workout when my friend who just came in asked if I could do it. I thought I could at least hold it well enough. Went all the way down, slightly touching the ground with my heels and pulled out too. Twice. Didn't think I could manage it. Also. I don't always go SPLAT in my HS Proof
